The management of the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has announced the deadline for payment of school fees and registration for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Newly admitted and returning students are advised to pay up all the fees required by the school before the deadline.
YABATECH School Fees and Registration Deadline
The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has announced the deadline for payment of fees. The deadline for fees is March 2026.
It is not considered valid if you pay your school fees after the deadline, and you may go through many filing processes to get your money.
The penalty for defaulting is a loss of studentship for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Also, note that the lost session shall form part of the total duration allowed for the Programme.
However, a student who has a genuine reason(s) to apply for Temporary Withdrawal from Studies for the session must follow the due process before the end of the First Semester of the session.

How Much is YABATECH School Fees? (Full Breakdown)
YABATECH moved to a flat fee structure, so your YABATECH school fees no longer depend on which course you are enrolled in, only on your level and whether you are full-time or part-time.
This breakdown reflects the schedule for the 2026/2027 session, confirmed across multiple independent fee trackers citing identical figures:
| LEVEL | FULL-TIME | PART-TIME |
| ND 1 / HND 1 | N45,500 | N75,000 |
| ND 2 / HND 2 | N33,000 | N75,000 |
| ND 3 | N33,000 | N75,000 |
This replaces the old course-by-course table YABATECH used in earlier sessions, where Computer Science, Engineering and similar departments paid different amounts from Accountancy or Business Administration.
If your department still quotes you a course-specific figure, confirm directly on the YABATECH portal, since the flat-rate structure above is what is consistently being reported for the current session.
How Much is YABATECH Acceptance Fee?
The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) acceptance fee is N25,000, non-refundable, for both full-time and part-time new students. This is an increase from the N10,000 the college charged in earlier sessions.
New intakes must pay their acceptance fee within two weeks of receiving their admission offer to be considered students.
How Much is YABATECH Hostel Fee?
Students who want to stay in the hostel accommodations made available by the school authorities would have to apply before time through the hostel accommodation form.
YABATECH’s hostel accommodation fee is N10,000 in total: N1,000 for the application and N9,000 for accommodation itself, both non-refundable.
Why Part-Time Costs More Than Full-Time at YABATECH
Part-time students pay N75,000 at every level while full-time students pay N45,500 in first year and N33,000 afterwards. The gap therefore widens from N29,500 at entry to N42,000 in later years.
Full-time study also gets cheaper as you progress, dropping N12,500 once you leave first year, whereas the part-time figure never moves.
A new full-time student should budget N80,500 overall, adding the N25,000 acceptance fee and N10,000 for hostel accommodation to the first-year charge.
The acceptance fee deserves particular attention. It has risen from N10,000 to N25,000, it is non-refundable, and it must be paid within two weeks of receiving your admission offer.
