The Benson Idahosa University (BIU) fee schedule for 2026/2027 runs by faculty and level, with LAW, Engineering and Computer Science charging the highest sessional fees and Agriculture and Education charging among the lowest.
Every faculty’s table below shows the full sessional fee split into two instalments, plus the discount available for full payment upfront and the rebate for CGMi members and staff children. The registration deadline for 2026/2027 is March 2026.
BIU School Fees and Registration Deadline
The Benson Idahosa University (BIU) has announced the deadline for payment of fees. The deadline for fees is March 2026.
If you pay your school fees after the deadline, it is not considered valid, and you may go through a lot of filing processes to get your money.
The penalty for defaulting is a loss of studentship for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Also, note that the lost session shall form part of the total duration allowed for the Programme.
However, a student who has a genuine reason(s) to apply for Temporary Withdrawal from Studies for the session must follow the due process before the end of the First Semester of the session.

The Benson Idahosa University (BIU) charges ₦50,000 fifty thousand Naira only for her acceptance fee.

BIU hostel fees accommodation fee ranges from; ₦50,000, ₦75,000, ₦100,000 to ₦175,000.
